Planet Asia intends to depict this continent using our own self-definition (based on several years of on-the-ground research). In brief, our version of Asia is made up of the East Asia (aka the Orient), South Asia, and SE Asia (apologies to Russia & the Middle East, but that’s a different scene, in our opinion).

From around 2005 to 2008, Planet Asia roamed around the continent, shooting videos in India, Thailand, the Himalayas, and so on. Shortly after we settled in China, the Great Firewall went up, and our access to Youtube became blocked.
